About this policy
This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the terms between you and us under which you may access and use lovehinckley.com (the “site”), and submit content to it (such as events, places, offers or other listings). This policy applies to all users of, and visitors to, our site.
Your use of our site means that you accept, and agree to comply with, this policy, which supplements our Terms of Website Use, our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy.

Prohibited uses
You may use our site only for lawful purposes. You may not use our site:

- to copy, scrape or systematically extract content from the site (for example, event, place or offer listings) for republication elsewhere without our prior written consent
You also agree:
- not to reproduce, duplicate, copy or re-sell any part of our site in contravention of the provisions of our Terms of Website Use
- not to access without authority, interfere with, damage or disrupt: any part of our site; any equipment or network on which our site is stored; any software used in the provision of our site; or any equipment, network or software owned or used by any third party
Submitting content
If you submit an event, place, business, offer or other listing for publication on the site, you must:
- only submit information that you have the right to provide and that is accurate and not misleading
- only include personal information about another person (for example, a contact name or phone number for an event) where you have their permission, or another lawful basis, to do so
- ensure that the content does not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights or other rights of any third party
We review submissions before they are published and reserve the right to edit, reject, remove, suspend or archive any submission at our discretion, without giving reasons, and without notice.
Content standards
These content standards apply to any and all material you contribute to our site (contributions), and to any interactive services associated with it.
You must comply with the spirit and the letter of the following standards. The standards apply to each part of any contribution as well as to its whole.
Contributions must:
- be accurate (where they state facts)
- be genuinely held (where they state opinions)
- comply with applicable law in the UK and in any country from which they are posted
Contributions must not:
- be defamatory of any person
- be obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory
- bully, insult, intimidate or humiliate any person
- promote sexually explicit material or violence
- promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age
- infringe any copyright, database right, trade mark or other intellectual property right of any other person
- be likely to deceive any person, or be made in breach of any legal duty owed to a third party (such as a contractual duty or a duty of confidence)
- promote any illegal activity
- be in contempt of court, or threatening, abusive or invasive of another's privacy, or cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety
- be likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy any other person
- impersonate any person, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organisation
- give the impression that the contribution emanates from us, where this is not the case
- advocate, promote, incite any party to commit, or assist any unlawful or criminal act
- contain a statement which you know, or believe, or have reasonable grounds for believing, to be false, in a manner that could mislead members of the public
Suspension and termination
We will determine, in our discretion, whether there has been a breach of this Acceptable Use Policy through your use of our site or your submission of content. When a breach has occurred, we may take such action as we deem appropriate, including:
- immediate, temporary or permanent withdrawal of your right to use our site
- immediate, temporary or permanent removal, editing or unpublishing of any content submitted by you
- issuing a warning to you
- legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs on an indemnity basis (including, but not limited to, reasonable administrative and legal costs) resulting from the breach
- further legal action against you
- disclosure of such information to law enforcement authorities as we reasonably feel is necessary
We exclude liability for actions taken in response to breaches of this Acceptable Use Policy. The responses described in this policy are not limited, and we may take any other action we reasonably deem appropriate.
Interactive services
Where the site offers interactive features (such as comment sections, reviews, or forms for submitting events and listings), we may, but are under no obligation to, monitor or moderate any interactive service we provide. Where we do moderate an interactive service, we will normally provide you with a means of contacting the moderator should a concern or difficulty arise.
If you are a parent or guardian and you permit a child in your care to submit content to or otherwise use any interactive service, you should be aware of the risks involved and should supervise their use of the service.

We may revise this Acceptable Use Policy at any time by amending this page. Please check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we made, as they are binding on you. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when this policy was last revised.
